Today, Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) released the following statement on the retirement of Rep. David Price (NC-04):
“David and I have served together in North Carolina’s congressional delegation for many years. He’s someone who has always approached his work in Congress with deep respect for the institution and for the people he represents. He’s also someone who believes in working across the aisle to get things done, a commitment we share and one that allowed us to work together on important issues, like conservation and disaster relief. I wish him all the best in his retirement.”
