WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded more than $1.3 million to Bismarck State College. Today’s grant will be used to support the Accomplish-Innovate-Motivate (AIM) Scholars Program which will provide scholarships to students who pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to meet the nation’s high demand for workers entering careers related in the STEM fields.
“This is about supporting STEM education and expanding opportunities for students as they explore growing job prospects and prepare to enter the workforce,” said Hoeven.
