U.S. Senator Ben Sasse issued the following statement on Joe Manchin’s deal with Chuck Schumer to spend hundreds of billions of dollars in a partisan spending spree.
“What planet are these guys on? Inflation is crushing families. Moms and dads are getting squeezed by higher prices, and Joe Manchin just agreed to make things worse by spending more than $400 billion. This is wildly irresponsible.”
