WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant Louisiana a total of $38,369,346.64 in relief for Hurricanes Laura, Delta, and Ida.
“Louisiana communities are still picking the pieces after years of natural disasters,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding helps families recover and prepare for future hurricanes.”
Communities all across Louisiana will benefit from these grants, including: the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, the Louisiana Department of Public Safety, the City of Lake Charles, Lafourche Parish, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, Louisiana Department of Public Safety, and City of Grand Isle.
