“President Biden knows this is dangerous and he ought to have the guts to say it.”

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Ben Sasse, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement after the White House Press Secretary downplayed progressive activists posting the addresses of Supreme Court Justices as “a lot of passion.”

“President Biden has an obligation to forcefully condemn the left’s harassment of the Supreme Court. Progressive activists published the home addresses of Supreme Court Justices and the White House dismissed it as ‘a lot of passion.’ That doesn’t cut it. Don’t pretend this is an isolated incident: Two years ago, Chuck Schumer stood on the Supreme Court steps and spat threats at Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. For months progressive partisans have worked to delegitimize the Court, and now activists are doxxing the Justices’ homes. This isn’t how adults act. This isn’t how American self-government works. President Biden knows this is dangerous and he ought to have the guts to say it.”
