DULUTH – U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) issued the statement below on the tragic deaths of Riana Lou Barry, Sean Christopher Barry, Shiway Elizabeth Barry, and Sadie Lucille Barry in Duluth:
“This is a terrible tragedy. My deepest condolences are with the Duluth community as we mourn Sean, Riana, Shiway, and Sadie Barry – four lives taken much too soon. The Barrys left a special mark on Duluth. Raina was a social worker, known for her gentle, kind manner, and Sean was a wonderful neighbor who would extend a helping hand without being asked. They were loving parents raising two adorable girls. Shiway played basketball and loved animals, and Sadie was a Girl Scout who proudly declared she would sell 4,000 boxes of cookies. My heart breaks for the friends and family who are mourning their loss, and I know this community will embrace them.”
