WASHINGTON—Senator Stabenow released the following statement on President Biden’s announcement that he will ban U.S. imports of Russian energy:
“Putin and his oligarchs make billions every year from Russian energy exports. Shutting down imports of Russian energy is the type of bold action we need to punish Putin. I support this strong move by President Biden.”
