WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant Louisiana a total of $7,501,483.50 for road and drainage improvements. Southern University will receive $3,331,783.50, Livingston Parish will receive $3,033,100.00, and East Baton Rouge Parish will receive $1,136,600.00.
“We need to reinvest in our roads and sewer systems to prepare them for the next storm,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This grant will help modernize our state.”
