WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) congratulated the following schools in North Dakota today for being selected as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2021: Valley-Edinburg Elementary School in Crystal, Roosevelt Elementary School in Mandan, and Wyndmere Public School.

“Congratulations to Valley-Edinburg Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, and Wyndmere Public School on this well-deserved recognition. Receiving a Blue Ribbon Award is an incredible honor and a testament to dedication of the students, teachers, and administrators at these three outstanding schools,” said Senator Cramer. “While schools across the country faced their fair share of challenges over the last year, North Dakota’s educators rose to the occasion and worked to ensure the next generation were able to be in the classroom, learning what they needed to learn. I’m grateful for their effort and for all who devote their life to creating a brighter future for our children.”

In November, the 2021 National Blue Ribbon Schools will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington D.C. where they will receive an award plaque and the honorary blue flag to display at their schools to symbolize this accomplishment. There were 325 schools recognized across the nation as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2021. Learn more here
