WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Seapower Subcommittee, announced today the U.S. Navy awarded a contract with a maximum value of $25,685,970 to Ideal Aerosmith, Inc. in Grand Forks.
The contract will be used for updating the advanced mission planning systems at the Expeditionary Mission Support Station, which is strategically important for allowing dedicated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) assets. This contract provides for the creation of mission planning software that will have the ability to plan multi-day routes with dynamic weather considerations changing over both time and location. The work expected to be completed by September 2024.
