(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) was among a core group of lawmakers who announced a bipartisan agreement on an infrastructure deal from the U.S. Capitol. Today, the Senate cleared a key procedural hurdle and will now begin debate on the legislation.
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act is the most significant investment on infrastructure in U.S. history.
At a press conference after the bipartisan group announced the agreement, Shaheen underscored the urgent need to continue good-faith, bipartisan efforts to deliver the robust infrastructure package through Congress and to the President’s desk.
