Sen. Cramer Talks Drought, Infrastructure, Carbon Tax with Agri-Pulse

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), a member of the Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee, spoke to Phil Brasher on Agri-Pulse’s Washington Week in Review about the drought in North Dakota, the latest on bipartisan infrastructure negotiations, and the Biden Administration’s proposal to repeal a part of the tax code known as “step-up in basis” or “stepped up basis,” which would impose a capital gains tax increase on family-owned businesses, farms, and ranches.
