Sen. Cramer, Colleagues Introduce Resolution in Support of the Cuban People

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) joined Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) in introducing a resolution in support of the Cuban people who have been participating in protests against the current regime in Cuba.

“It has been inspiring to see the people of Cuba bravely taking a stand against tyranny and oppression,” said Senator Cramer. “I support those who are seeking their God-given rights of freedom and liberty, and I urge my colleagues and the Biden Administration to do the same.”

The resolution highlights the dictatorship’s long record of oppression against pro-democracy leaders, political opponents, and civic movements.
