WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) under the U.S. Department of Commerce awarded $808,200 to the Dakota Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Inc., or Impact Dakota.
These NIST MEP Program resources will help expand existing training services and support the development of new ones, including virtual programming to reach more North Dakota rural businesses. Focus areas for the allocated funds are as follows: Workforce attraction, development and retention; Supply chain optimization; Cybersecurity protection; Industry 4.0 / Automation; and Organizational culture.
