JERSEY CITY, N.J. – U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) released the following statement on the passing of former Hudson County Freeholder, Barry Dugan:
“Bayonne lost a true champion of the people and a strong advocate for veterans in Hudson County and New Jersey. A son of Irish immigrants who valiantly served his country as a U.S. Marine, Barry Dugan made it his life’s work to serve the people of Bayonne and the residents of Hudson County. He leaves a lasting legacy and. My thoughts and prayers are with Frances, their children and grandchildren in this difficult time.”
