Cassidy Announces $11.8 Million for Louisiana Airports from His Infrastructure Law

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will grant Louisiana a total of $11,789,777.00 to improve local airports across Louisiana from his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). Since last fall, Louisiana airports have received a total of $70.3 million in IIJA funding, with more expected over the next three years.  

“Airports are the first impression our state makes on businesses and families looking to move here,” said Dr. Cassidy. “The infrastructure law allows Louisiana to make our communities attractive for businesses.”
