Sen. Cramer: EDA Supports Initiatives to Enhance Regional Economies in Seven North Dakota Counties

BISMARCK — U.S. Senator Cramer (R-ND) announced the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) awarded a total of $420,000 to support the establishment of comprehensive economic development strategies (CEDS):

  • $210,000 for the Tri-County Regional Development Council
  • $210,000 for the Red River Regional Council

The CEDS process engages the public and private sectors in creating roadmaps to enhance regional economies. Collectively, these two recipient organizations serve Divide, McKenzie, Williams, Grand Forks, Nelson, Pembina, and Walsh counties.
