Senator Rosen Was Also Recently Recognized As One Of The Top 10 Most Bipartisan Senators In The 117th Congress
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) was named one of the top ten most effective Democratic Senators in the 117th Congress, according to a study by the Center for Effective Lawmaking at the University of Virginia and Vanderbilt University released this week. Senator Rosen was the seventh most effective Senate Democrat and the second-most effective first-term senator, making her one of only four first-term senators who “exceeded expectations” as above-average effective lawmakers.
“I made a promise to Nevadans that I would be an independent voice for them in Washington and would work across party lines to pass common-sense legislation and get things done,” said Senator Rosen. “I’m honored to have been recognized as one of the ten most effective Senate Democrats and one of the ten most bipartisan Senators. I will continue to be a strong, effective advocate for our state and will work tirelessly to help Nevada’s hardworking families.”
Since arriving in Congress, Senator Rosen has worked across party lines to deliver for Nevada. She has been named one of the ten most bipartisan members of the Senate, and more than 90 percent of the legislation she introduced in the 117th Congress was bipartisan. Last Congress, Senator Rosen introduced 17 pieces of bipartisan legislation that were signed into law.
