Fischer Announces Service Academy Days in Kearney and Bellevue

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) today announced that her staff will hold service academy days in Kearney and Bellevue this year.

Both events are designed to inform high school students about the process to apply for a congressional nomination to one of our nation’s military service academies. Service academy representatives will be on hand to answer questions.

The event also includes representatives from the Nebraska chapters of the service academy alumni associations and Nebraska service academy parent clubs.   

All high school students, parents, and guidance counselors who have an interest in the nation’s service academies are welcome. The targeted audience is freshman through juniors.
