WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced Louisiana will receive $5,110,200 from his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) for road improvements across the state. Specifically, the funding will allow communities across Louisiana to create action plans to address and prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries.
“Parents should have peace of mind knowing the roads are safe when driving their children to school,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act will allow our communities to rebuild crumbling roads to keep families safe.”
