WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made the following statement on efforts by Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to force the Biden Administration to protect our southern border.
“Governor Abbott and Governor DeSantis: Keep it up!
“Make this problem real for the Liberal elite. You are welcoming them to the reality facing our border communities who do not get a break from illegal immigration.
“Liberals should be trying to fix the problem and securing the border, not complaining about where the migrants go.
“According to some on the left, sending illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard is inhumane. What’s inhumane is the Biden immigration policy that entices people to make a dangerous journey to the United States. What makes no sense is to continue these open border policies where our country is flooded with drugs and illegal immigrants, including people on the terrorist watch list.
“My message to President Biden: Go to the border. Visit border communities. Talk to the Border Patrol officials on the ground. It’s past time you understand the chaos you have created.”
