WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR), a senior member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, continues his advocacy for Arkansas veterans and secures access to the benefits and services they have earned.
Boozman visited the Mountain Home Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) on Wednesday where he applauded the dedicated physicians, nurses and staff who help administer health services to the region’s veterans.
“CBOCs play an important role in the delivery of VA health care. Facilities like this in Mountain Home allow veterans to get the care they need close to home instead of driving long distances to a VA hospital. Visiting the health institutions entrusted to serve our veterans is an important part of my responsibility to ensure the VA has the resources to fulfill our promise to the men and women who have served our nation in uniform. I’ve been proud to advocate for policies and investments supporting our veterans and will continue to champion legislation to enhance their quality of life,” Boozman said.
