Yesterday, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), met with members of the Oklahoma Sheriffs’ Association. The group discussed a number of topics, including prioritizing the needs of law enforcement officers across the state and upholding the Oklahoma standard in Congress.

“It was a pleasure to meet with the Oklahoma Sheriffs’ Association in Washington yesterday,” Inhofe said. “We had a very productive conversation about the importance of protecting our communities, the need for robust funding to law enforcement agencies and the harmful consequences of the Biden administration’s unwillingness to secure our border.
“I’m grateful for the work Oklahoma’s sheriffs do to keep our communities safe and I look forward to continuing to work together to ensure the needs of law enforcement officials across Oklahoma are heard in Washington.”
