LOUISVILLE, KY – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released the following statement today on the passing of Martin County Judge-Executive Victor Slone:
“I was saddened to learn of the passing of Martin County Judge-Executive Victor Slone this past weekend. He dedicated his life to public service and his community. After beginning a career in teaching, Victor served as a county magistrate for five terms before his appointment to the Judge-Executive position last April. In his various positions across the public sector, Victor always put the people of Martin County first. Elaine and I share our deepest condolences with the Slone family and will hold them in our prayers.”
