U.S. Senator Ben Sasse issued the following statement after the Biden Administration announced it would not give payments of $450,000 to illegal immigrants.
“It shouldn’t have taken pressure from Senate Republicans to keep President Biden from handing out bags of cash to illegal immigrants. I’m glad he’s made the right decision this time, but it was an obvious call. The President’s job isn’t to cater to AOC and Bernie Sanders.”
