Shelby Commends NIH Director Francis Collins Following Retirement Announcement

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), vice chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, today released the following statement regarding the announcement that National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Dr. Francis Collins will step down from his position by the end of the year:
