Sen. Cramer: NDSU to Receive $1.9 Million for Rare-Earth Element Research

BISMARCK — U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Energy awarded $1,900,000 to North Dakota State University (NDSU). 

The funds, allocated over three years, will be used for research on rare-earth elements. They are part of a nationwide investment in new technology solutions to secure the supply of critical materials important to U.S. economic, energy, and national security.
