The program provides counseling, support services, and information on college admissions and postsecondary education options to improve students’ financial and economic literacy on specific financial aid options. The four awards announced in Ohio are:
- $750,750 to Educational Partners Inc. in Dayton
- $272,634 to Eastern Gateway Community College in Youngstown

“All Ohio students should have the opportunity to succeed in higher education and research,” said Brown. “These federal funds will give students the tools they need to plan for their futures and pursue all the opportunities that come from higher education.”
The EOC aims to increase the number of adults who pursue postsecondary education by providing academic advice, personal counseling, career workshops, and information on postsecondary education opportunities and student financial assistance.
