U.S. Senator Ben Sasse issued the following statement regarding Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi’s federal election takeover bill, S.1/H.R.1.
“Using federal money to bankroll incumbents like Bernie Sanders is shady. Career politicians shouldn’t spend money that belongs to the American people to keep getting elected year after year. It’s spin to disguise incumbent kickbacks as ‘voting reform.’ This federal election takeover is a mess.”
