WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) released the following readout after he met last week with Frank Kendall, President Biden’s nominee for Secretary of the Air Force:

“I had a good conversation with Mr. Kendall and I look forward to continuing to work closely with him on Ohio’s Air Force priorities,” said Brown. “During our meeting I raised needing to meet the Air Force’s critical acquisition and research and development workforce needs, stopping the migration of PFAS from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base into Dayton’s water, and continuing to invest in military installation infrastructure. We also discussed the important role that C-130s play in maintaining critical airlift capability to meet our national security missions. I invited Mr. Kendall back to Ohio to visit with Airmen who keep us safe each and every day.”
