Sen. Cramer: North Dakota Airports Receive Additional Funds from 2020 COVID-19 Relief Package

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the following eleven grants totaling $266,710:

  • $102,970 to City of Fargo Municipal Airport Authority,
  • $66,740 to Bismarck Municipal Airport Authority,
  • $13,000 to Tioga Municipal Airport Authority,
  • $13,000 to Linton Municipal Airport Authority,
  • $13,000 to Grafton Municipal Airport Authority,
  • $13,000 to Bowman Municipal Airport Authority,
  • $9,000 to Cando Municipal Airport Authority,
  • $9,000 to Parshall Municipal Airport Authority,
  • $9,000 to Lakota Airport Authority,
  • $9,000 to Lisbon Municipal Airport Authority, and
  • $9,000 to Mott Municipal Airport Authority.

The funds come through the Coronavirus Relief and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2020 and will be used for operations and personnel services.
